The injection pump mainly consists of four parts: the pump mechanism, the oil supply regulating mechanism, the driving mechanism and the injection pump body. Among them, the oil pump mechanism includes plunger couple, oil valve couple, etc. Oil supply regulating mechanism refers to rack type oil regulating mechanism or shifting fork type oil regulating mechanism; The driving mechanism includes a camshaft, a tappet assembly, etc. The fuel injection pump body is the installation matrix of the above three, which requires sufficient strength, stiffness and sealing, and is convenient for disassembly, adjustment and maintenance.

Generally speaking, there are four aspects:

1. Constant pressure oil supply: the injection pump shall increase the low pressure oil delivered by the pump to a certain pressure, and then transfer it to the injector through the high-pressure tubing to obtain good spray quality.

2. Regular oil supply: the injection pump shall ensure that the oil supply starts at the specified time and the oil supply duration. For multi-cylinder engines, the injection advance Angle of each cylinder and the duration of oil supply should be equal.

3. Quick oil supply and reliable work: the fuel injection pump should ensure that the oil supply starts and ends quickly and simply to prevent the fuel injector dripping or abnormal injection after the oil supply stops.

4, quantitative oil supply: according to the size of the diesel engine load to supply the appropriate amount of oil. For multi-cylinder engines, make sure that each cylinder provides the same amount of fuel.
