Types of Oil Pumps
1. According to whether the flow rate can be adjusted, it can be divided into variable pump and quantitative pump. The output flow can be adjusted according to the need is called variable pump, and the flow can not be regulated is called quantitative pump.
2. According to the common pump structure in hydraulic system, it can be divided into three types: gear pump, vane pump and plunger pump.
Gear pump: small size, simple structure, less strict requirements for oil cleanliness, cheaper price; but the pump shaft is subject to unbalanced force, serious wear and leakage.
Vane pump: divided into double-acting vane pump and single-acting vane pump. The pump has uniform flow, smooth operation, low noise, higher working pressure and volume efficiency than gear pump, and more complex structure than gear pump.
Plunger pumps: high volume efficiency, small leakage, can work under high pressure, mostly used in high-power hydraulic systems; but the structure is complex, material and processing accuracy requirements are high, the price is expensive, and the cleanliness of oil requirements are high.
