How the oil pump works
1. Oil pressure preparation: with the rotation of the camshaft of the injection pump, the eccentric wheel pushes the rollers, push rods and pistons outward, and the oil pressure of the pump chamber I increases due to the decrease in volume. Close the oil inlet valve and press out the oil valve.
2. Oil absorption and oil pressure stroke: when the convex part of the eccentric wheel turns away from the roller, the piston is adept under the action of the spring. The oil pressure of pump chamber II increases, the oil outlet valve is closed, and the diesel oil flows to the oil filter through the oil passage. At this point, the volume of pump chamber I becomes larger, the pressure drops, the oil inlet valve 3 is sucked open, and the diesel oil changes through the oil inlet and the oil inlet valve into the pump chamber I.
3, automatic regulation of oil transfer: how much oil transfer depends on the piston stroke; The pressure depends on the tension of the piston spring. When the stroke of the piston is equal to the eccentric distance of the eccentric wheel, the oil flow is maximum. When the amount of oil required by the injection pump is reduced, the oil pressure of cavity II will increase accordingly, and an empty stroke is generated between the push rod and the piston, that is, the effective stroke of the piston is reduced, and the output oil is reduced. When the fuel consumption increases, the effective stroke increases. In this way, automatic regulation of oil flow and oil pressure is realized.
