Working principle of high-pressure oil pump:
1. It is composed of a high-pressure oil pump integrated with a low-pressure gear pump, three high-pressure oil pump components with oil pump plunger and an oil volume control valve.
Working principle: the fuel oil is pumped from the oil tank through a filter with separate oil and water through the oil inlet pipe and then into the high-pressure pump. The feed pump makes the fuel pass through the saving hole of the pressure relief valve and then enters the lubrication and cooling loop of the high pressure pump. The camshaft causes the plungers of the three pumps to move up and down according to the shape of the CAM.
3. The oil supply pressure exceeds the opening pressure of the relief valve, and the oil feed pump can make the fuel enter the plunger cavity through the inlet valve of the high-pressure pump, and the plunger of the high-pressure pump is moving downward (oil suction stroke). When the plunger passes through the bottom dead center, the inlet valve is closed. In this way, the fuel inside the plunger cavity may not leak and it will be compressed at a pressure higher than the supply pressure.
4, oil pressure to add oil valve opened, arrived in the common rail pressure, was compressed fuel into the high-pressure cycle (oil). The plunger continues to supply fuel until it reaches the top dead center (oil supply stroke). After the top dead center, the pressure decreases, causing the oil outlet valve to close, and the fuel pressure still in the plunger cavity also drops, and the plunger (pump oil plug) moves down again. As long as the plunger cavity pressure is lower than the oil supply pump supply pressure on the right, the oil valve opened, the process of oil pump and start.
